Why here
Jerusalem limestone is the reason this city photographs the way it does. Every building is faced in it by law, and at both ends of the day the whole old city goes the colour of the camera you have been watching. Seven nights is right, because the four quarters, the Mount of Olives and the desert an hour away do not compress well.
